Watch The Toy ((BETTER))

The toy set in question: two vinyl figures of the watchmaker François-Paul Journe, one of him unwrinkled and young at the beginning of his career and the other, hair grayed, showing him in the present. The set also came with seven miniature F.P. Journe watches that Cheng insisted even have a little crystal over the dial for authenticity. Cheng promoted the set, which retailed for $500, exclusively through his Instagram.

Cheng clearly understands the appeal of items like these, and the continuity between 1930s watch collectibles and their 2022 iteration. At the most recent round of auctions in New York last week, The prolific collector wound up bidding on just a single item: an Audemars Piguet money clip.

The Yo-kai Watch (object) has been made into a real-life toy, with each of them coming with collectable Yo-kai Medals or Yo-kai Keystones. They can be inserted into the watch, which will play the summoning song but they can also be taken out normally.

Exclusively to the Japanese, Korean and Asian Bandai products, there are upgrade kits that give the watch a new skin while they come with an exclusive Yo-kai Medal. The upgrade kits for the Yo-kai Watch Model U and Dream come with a new strap and bezel that covers the sides of the toy while keeping the face intact with space to insert Yo-kai Medals. Later models such as the Elda only changes the face or bezel.

If the current look of your Apple Watch's main screen is getting a little stale, and you're already tired of the existing Mickey and Minnie Mouse faces, you'll soon have the option adorning your smartwatch with Toy Story characters. As shown off at this year's WWDC keynote, watchOS 4 will expand on the Disney tie-ins by introducing animated character faces, with options including heroes Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

The second developer beta of watchOS 4 has been released, offering our first look at the new Toy Story faces. As demonstrated earlier this month, users can customize the face of their Apple Watch with a variety of poses for each character, and even hear their voice lines played. The animations play out automatically when a wearer raises the Watch, and a tap will get the characters to speak, although the latter feature isn't included in this latest beta.

As of now users can specifically choose Woody, Buzz, or Jessie to put on their watch face, while Hamm, Rex, Bullseye, and the aliens from Pizza Planet are available from a "Toy Box" option, which randomizes the character and animation shown each time the Watch is raised.

Yo-Kai Medals are collectible plastic disks in a variety of frame styles and colors depicting Yo-Kai. These can be inserted into the toy watch or into the Yo-Kai Pad. Each medal also includes a QR code on the back that you can use in-game to redeem gacha coins and other items and surprises! Each QR code is tradeable and usable once per game save, and each medal has a unique code even if you end up with a duplicate.

The Yo-Kai Watch is a toy variant of the titular watch. There are currently six watch variations in Japan, the original Yokai Watch, Fumika's necklace style Yokai Watch, the Zero-shiki Watch, the Prototype-U, and even newer U1 and U2 watches. Each watch is modeled after watches from the games and anime series. Yo-Kai Medals can be inserted into these watchs (compatibility will vary). The original watch toy was so popular upon release that the entire stock was sold out within two weeks.

As such, the tie-ins can be watched (or not) as you see fit, without missing anything in the subsequent films, but must be watched after their respective films in order to avoid introducing spoilers. For example, Zurg's big reveal (in Toy Story 2) to Buzz is mocked in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

TL;DR: The first three Toy Story movies are available for streaming on Disney+(Opens in a new tab) right now, but if you wait until the fourth film drops, you can watch the entire franchise for free with the platform's seven-day trial.

The trick to this method is all about timing, timing, timing. As previously mentioned, only Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and Toy Story 3 are available to stream on Disney+ right now, and Disney hasn't yet revealed when the fourth one will drop. (All we know is that it'll happen sometime within the platform's first year post-launch). So, if the Toy Story series is all you plan on watching on Disney+, we suggest waiting until the release of the fourth film to make the most of your trial. But consider this: If you start your trial now and continue on one of those cheap monthly plans, you'll have tons of other stuff to watch while you wait for Toy Story 4 to arrive. Food for thought.

In 2015, people in the U.S. watched 60 million hours of unboxing videos for everything from gadgets to makeup, attracting more than 1.1 billion views, according to YouTube. Americans spent nearly twice as much time watching toy-related videos this year compared with 2014.

This month, he quit one of his two jobs as a massage therapist to devote more time to creating videos. So far, he earns only about $300 a month from ads that run before his videos, but he hopes to bolster his views enough so that he can start pulling in at least $1,000 a month next year. How much YouTubers earn depends on the number of views, how long people watch the ads and whether viewers click through to the actual products.

The annual episode of the long-running RTE chat show is one of the most-watched TV events each year, but it's not just viewers in Ireland that will be tuning in as telly fans in over 100 countries across the globe will be sitting down on the couch for the festive special.

Interestingly, it also uses a framing device which shows the Toy Story cast watching the film on VHS, so it maintains quite a strong connection to its origins. It was later followed by a spin-off series where Patrick Warburton took over the role of Buzz.

The Late Late Toy Show will air on Friday night on RTE One at 9:35pm and thanks to RTE Player, you can now watch it outside of Ireland. Here's hoping that the incredible demand won't cause the page to freeze and crash.

As stated by RTE, "this year's show will be available to watch worldwide live on the RTÉ Player on both the desktop and the app, with an additional In-Vision Irish Sign Language stream available too
